The carts used to transport textile prints throughout an old factory in Kortrijk. Now they have become industrial antiques, but they need some upcycling. The iron frames are weathered, but intact.

Basically all 99 carts have the same characteristics: an iron frame, 4 wheels and a hook (people used to put a stick in it to pull the cart, we could get our hands on two of these).

Today, I took a closer look at 3 carts and I measured them. And it seems that every cart is really unique. Some have 1 bar, others 5. Most have a round hook, some a square one. And there are small differences in size. One mold to upcycle all of my carts definitely won’t work!
